Omnipol Piston Engines

AD/OM-P/3 Amdt 1 Throttle Lever Screw - Replacement 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1974 against 1960 Omnipol Service Bulletin (SB) Walter M332/22 and M332/11 required a modification by replacement of throttle lever clamping screw with a standard 4mm x 20mm bolt and steel stop nut or castellated nut and 1mm split pin.

Compliance was:  Within 100 hours TIS after 31 January 1975.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that affected engines would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
