Omnipol Piston Engines

AD/OM-P/2 Cylinder Heads - Inspection and Replacement 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1985 against 1963 Omnipol Service Bulletin (SB) No. N4-111/20 and M6-111/17 required an inspection and modification by replacement of cylinder heads of Walter Minor 4-111 and 6-111 engines with S/Nos. 34405 and below.

Compliance was:  Inspection at intervals not exceeding 50 hours TIS until modified. Modification before installation following next complete overhaul after 1 September 1963.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated, and that affected engines would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
