AD/MU-2/33 Rudder and Elevator Trim Idler Installation Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/MU-2/33.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1984, required modification of the rudder and elevator trim idler installation in accordance with Mitsubishi MU-2 SB 026/22-003 or SB 022/22-002 to eliminate pulley malfunctions and to aid alignment of the trim chain/idler installations.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 31 July 1984 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
