AD/MU-2/26 Control Cable Turnbuckles Inspection and Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/MU-2/26.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1983, required replacement of control cable turnbuckles in accordance with Mitsubishi MU-2 S.B. No. 184 as a result of stress corrosion cracking occurring in turnbuckles manufactured in 1971.  The AD compliance was within 200 hours time in service after 30th November 1983.  As all turnbuckles would have been replaced by now, the AD is no longer required.
