AD/MU-2/19 Engine Nacelle Upper Door Rod Assembly Removal and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/MU-2/19.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1978, required removal of the rod assembly from the engine nacelle upper door in accordance with Mitsubishi SB No. 179 to prevent the rod falling into the starter generator during engine operation.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 28 February 1978.  As all aircraft would be modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
