AD/MCH/8 Cabin Trim Head Shield Installation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/MCH/8.

AD/MCH/8 Cabin Trim Head Shield - Installation 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1975, required a modification by installation of an aluminium cover plate to the cabin 'A' frame to shield the cabin lining from heat damage in the event of an engine fire.  Compliance was required before 30 November 1975.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
