AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/M20/45.

Mooney M20 Series Aeroplanes

AD/M20/45 Overvoltage Warning Light 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1989 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB) No. M20-245 required the rewiring of a portion of the 24VDC electrical system to correct a wiring error that rendered the overvoltage warning light in the annunciator panel assembly inoperative should an alternator overvoltage occur.

Compliance was: Prior to 30 November 1990.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft wiring systems to have been corrected by now; therefore this AD is longer required.
