AD/M20/4 Wing Skin at Station 59.25 Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/M20/4.

AD/M20/4 Wing Skin at Station 59.25 - Modification 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1962 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB) No. 20-100.  It required an inspection of the rivets attaching the skin to the rib at Wing Station 59.25 for possible looseness.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
