AD/M20/37 Lower Empennage Hinge Assembly Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/M20/37.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1979 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB) No. M20-216.  It required a modification to the lower empennage hinge assembly to enable full trim capability.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
