Mooney M20 Series Aeroplanes

AD/M20/34 Fuel Tank Finger Strainer - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1978 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB) No. M20-207 requiring an inspection to ensure that fuel tank filter strainers have not been manufactured with excessive solder or damaged during installation which could cause restricted fuel flow to the engine.

Compliance was: Before 1 December 1978.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is no longer required.
