AD/M20/31 Pilots Seats Installations Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/M20/31.

AD/M20/31 Pilots Seats Installations - Modification 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1978 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB) No. M20-211.  It required a modification to prevent the possibility of the pilot and co-pilot seats coming off the seat rails during adjustment.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 May 1978.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
