AD/M20/20 Amdt 1 Flap Hinges Corrosion Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/M20/20 Amdt 1.

AD/M20/20 Amdt 1 Flap Hinges Corrosion 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was originally raised in 1975 against Mooney Service Bulletin (SB)
20-186A, and required a repeat inspection for corrosion of the outboard flap hinges.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 30 April 1975 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding one year.

As there is only one defect stemming from this AD recorded in the mandatory defect reporting system, the AD is no longer required.
