AD/LA-4/7 Hull Frame Station 97 Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/LA-4/7.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1973 against Lake Aircraft Division, Consolidated Aeronautics Service Letter (SL) SL No. 44, required an inspection and modification following manufacturer reports of cracks being located near the centre line of the hull frame at station 97.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 May 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
