Consolidated Aeronautics, Colonial and LA-4 Series Aeroplanes

AD/LA-4/4 Fuel Filter - Installation 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1972 against Lake Aircraft Division, Consolidated Aeronautics Service Letter (SL) SL No. 36, for all 180 HP Lake LA-4 aeroplanes Serial No. 246 and subsequent, requiring a modification by providing a fuel filter between fuel tank and carburettor.  Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 May 1972.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
