AD/LA-4/20 Main Landing Gear Rocker Castings P/N 2-4113-1 Inspection and Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/LA-4/20.

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1980 against Lake Aircraft Division, Consolidated Aeronautics Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. B63, required an inspection and modification of the main gear retraction mechanism rocker castings following cracking on overseas aeroplanes.  Compliance was required before 1 January 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
