AD/LA-4/18 Trim Actuating Cylinder Bracket Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/LA-4/18.

AD/LA-4/18 Trim Actuating Cylinder Bracket - Inspection 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1979 against Lake Division, Consolidated Aeronautics Service Bulletin (SB) SB No. B55, required an inspection for omission at manufacture of four rivets securing the trim actuating bracket lower flange to the fin rib.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
