AD/LA-4/11 Engine Mount Upper Side Straps - Inspection 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1974 against Consolidated Aeronautics Service Letter (SL)
SL L43, required an initial inspection for cracking of engine upper side straps within 25 hours TIS after 31 May 1974, and an inspection at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS.

As there are no reports of this defect on Australian registered aircraft, and the inspection is sufficiently addressed by published maintenance requirements, this AD is no longer required.
