AD/L200/9 Control Wheel Rod Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/L200/9.

AD/L200/9 Control Wheel Rod - Inspection 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1979 against Omnipol Service Bulletin (SB) No. L200/16, required an inspection and modification of the control wheel to guide joint following a report to the manufacturer of a control wheel failure.  Compliance was required before issue of Certificate of Airworthiness.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
