AD/L.40/5 Fuel System Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/L.40/5.

AD/L.40/5 Fuel System - Modification 9/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD applied to L.40 aircraft with wing-tip auxiliary fuel tanks.  The AD specified modification of the main tank vent system to ensure interconnection of air spaces.  Compliance was required before September 1971.  The AD was not based on a manufacturer’s service document.  The AD is no longer required.
