Instruments and Automatic Pilots

AD/INST/35 Collins APP-80/80A Autopilot Panel 3/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 March 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1988 against Collins APP 80/80A Service Bulletin (SB) SB 15 required a modification to those Collins APP-80/80A autopilot panels not marked SB 15 on the unit modification plate to prevent smoke being emitted from resistors on the autopilot panels.

Compliance was before 30 June 1989.

As all affected APP-80/80A Autopilot Panels would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
