Instruments and Automatic Pilots

AD/INST/28 A.R.C. PA1050A Actuator and DA-1050A Decoupler Adapter - Cessna
1050A I.F.C.S. - Inspection and Modification
3/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 March 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1979 against ARC Field Engineering Service Bulletin (SB) No. 215 and Cessna Information Letter AV79-26 (Cessna 441) required an inspection and modification to improve corrosion resistance of actuators and decoupler adaptors of ARC IF 1050A (Cessna 1050A) flight control system.

Compliance was: Inspection at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS until modified.  Modify: before 30 November 1980.

Given the extended time this AD has been promulgated it is considered that the affected actuators and decoupler adaptors would have been modified by now, therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
