On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/INST/26.

Instruments and Automatic Pilots

AD/INST/26 Navomatic 200A Automatic Pilot
Computer - Amplifier Nav Input - Modification
3/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 March 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1979 against ARC Field Engineering Service Bulletin (SB) SB 211 and Cessna Avionics Service Letter (SL) SL AV78-28 required a modification to enable the computer amplifier to accept voltages of up to + 8 volts.

Compliance was within 200 hours TIS after 31 January 1979.

Given the extended period this AD has been promulgated and that the affected computer amplifiers would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
