AD/HU 369/74 Particle Separator Filter Bypass Door Latch Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 369/74.

AD/HU 369/74 Particle Separator Filter Bypass Door Latch 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1988 against McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company Service Information Notice (SIN) No. HN-213, DN-152, EN-41 and FN-30, required replacement of the latch assembly on the particle separator bypass door following manufacturer reports of engine inlet particle filter bypass door failure.  Compliance was required at the next annual inspection after 30 April 1988.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
