AD/HU 369/57 Amdt 2 Collective Stick Support Bracket Reinforcement Strap Installation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 369/57 Amdt 2.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1984 at amendment 2 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. DN-119.1, HN-187.1 and EN-11, required the installation of a collective stick support bracket reinforcement strap to strengthen the support bracket in the area of attachment by providing a secondary load path.  Compliance was required within100 hours TIS after 30 November 1983.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
