AD/HU 369/45 Tail Rotor Swashplate Bearing
Locknut - Increase in Torque
6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1980 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. HN-150 required an increase in torque of the tail rotor swashplate bearing locknut to prevent loosening.

Compliance was:  Within100 hours TIS after 31 March 1980.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the subject tail rotor bearing locknuts to have been re-torqued; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
