AD/HU 369/18 Engine Air Filter By-Pass Door - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1975 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. HN-84 required an inspection of the engine air filter by-pass door aluminium hinge for corrosion and a modification to replace the current hinge with a new stainless steel hinge.

Compliance was:  Inspect within 50 hours TIS after 21 May 1975 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS until modified.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
