AD/HU 269/93 Tail Rotor Blade Spar Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/93.

AD/HU 269/93 Tail Rotor Blade Spar 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1988 against Schweizer Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-212.  It required a one-time inspection of tail rotor blade spars.  Compliance was required within the next 600 flight hours or prior to 31 March 1989.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
