Schweizer (Hughes) 269 Series Helicopters

AD/HU 269/78 Tail Rotor Pitch Control Link Assembly 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1986 against Schweizer Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-198 required an inspection and as appropriate rework of the tail rotor pitch control link assembly to ensure correct clearance between tail rotor pitch links and pitch control housing.

Compliance was: Within 50 hours TIS after 16 May 1986.  For spares, before installation in an aircraft.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
