AD/HU 269/69 Alternator Circuit Protection - Modification 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1980 required a modification by installation of Alternator circuit protection devices following a report of smoke in the cockpit caused by grounding of the field circuit within the Alternator.

Compliance was: Within 100 hours TIS after 30 June 1980.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
