Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was originally raised in 1983 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-155.2 (now cancelled) requiring a one-time replacement of tail rotor drive fork hinge bolt and periodic torque check of flapping hinge bolt to ensure bolt is fully seated and proper preload is maintained.  These requirements are contained in Schweizer 269 Handbook of Maintenance Instructions (HMI).

Compliance was: Unless already accomplished, within 100 hours TIS after
31 October, 1983.

The contents of this AD have been superseded by manufacturer’s actions that must be complied with as required by Civil Aviation Regulation 1988, 42V; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
