AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/50 Amdt 1.

Schweizer (Hughes) 269 Series Helicopters

AD/HU 269/50 Amdt 1 Main Rotor Mast and Tailboom
Supports - Inspection and Modification
5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1976 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No.
N-124.1.  It required an inspection of the main rotor mast left and right support tubes, and replacement of all attaching hardware for all mast tubes and tailboom support struts.  Compliance was required within 300 hours TIS after 27 February 1976.

As all affected helicopters would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
