Schweizer (Hughes) 269 Series Helicopters

AD/HU 269/49 Engine Cooling Impeller - Bolt Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1975 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-122 requiring inspection to determine that the proper clamp-up between the impeller and starter ring gear support assembly was obtained.

Compliance was: Within 100 hours TIS after 31 March 1975.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.

This AD has been reviewed in accordance with the AD review program.  The AD required an inspection that has been sufficiently promulgated.  This AD is therefore cancelled.
