AD/HU 269/44 Tail Rotor Control Stop Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/44.

AD/HU 269/44 Tail Rotor Control Stop - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1972 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-98 requiring a one-time inspection of the 269A7326 tail rotor control stop to determine if interference existed between the control stop and the tail rotor control cable.

Compliance was: Within 100 hours TIS after 31 August 1972.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is no longer required.
