On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/18.

AD/HU 269/18 Tail Boom - Inspection 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1966, required an inspection following a local report of cracking originating at the bolts attaching the tail rotor transmission housing to the tail boom and also the horizontal stabiliser forward mounting bolt.  Compliance was required at intervals not exceeding 50 hours.

As there are no records related to this AD contained in the mandatory defect reporting system, this AD is no longer required.
