AD/HU 269/17 Tail Rotor Transmission Housing Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/17.

AD/HU 269/17 Tail Rotor Transmission Housing - Inspection 11/2007

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 October 2007.
Background:	This is a unique Australian AD issued in 1967.  Review of the AD established that the modification kit is no longer available and the AD refers to a requirement document that no longer exists.  There have been no reports of cracks or other defects of the fin attachment in the last 20 years.  Hence, an unsafe condition no longer exists, and the AD can be cancelled.
