AD/HU 269/11 Amdt 3 Main Rotor Blade Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/HU 269/11 Amdt 3.

AD/HU 269/11 Amdt 3 Main Rotor Blade - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD was raised in 1973 against Hughes Service Information Notice (SIN) No. N-10.2.  It required inspections of the main rotor blades.  This requirement is now contained in manufacturer’s Handbook of Maintenance Instructions (HMI), Appendix B, so this AD is no longer required.
