AD/General/55 Amdt 2 Directional Gyros Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/GENERAL/55 Amdt 2.

AD/GENERAL/55 Amdt 2 Directional Gyros - Inspection 11/2007

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 25 October 2007.
Background:	This AD is a one off requirement and the safety issue should now be addressed.  This AD was issued under CAR 37A.  The justification to retain this AD would not satisfy the CASR Part 39.  The requirements should be contained in the aircraft maintenance manual for hemisphere operations.
