On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/GENERAL/18 Amdt 1.

Background: | This is an unique Australian AD, issued in the 1960s, requiring a placard indicating airspeeds for use of the automatic pilot, if these airspeeds were not contained in the flight manual. This AD is obsolete as the flight manual must furnish all airspeed limitations necessary for the safe operation of the aircraft. |
