AD/GA-7/5 Propeller Control Ball Joint Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/GA-7/5.

AD/GA-7/5 Propeller Control Ball Joint - Replacement 6/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.
Background:	This AD, issued in 1979, required replacement of the ball and socket type propeller control cable end in accordance with GAC SB ME-12 to ensure greater durability of this control.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 31 March 1979.  As all aircraft would have the part replaced by now, the AD is no longer required.
