AD/G164/12 Fuel Quantity Indicator Presentation Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/G164/12.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in1972 against Grumman G164 Service Bulletin (SB) No. 48 required an inspection of the presentation of the fuel quantity indicator to avoid possibility of misreading.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 June 1972.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
