AD/FU24/59 Rudder Torque Tube to
Rudder Attachment - Inspection
5/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required a one-off inspection of the rudder torque tube to rudder attachment in accordance with Aerospace Service Bulletin No FU/071 to ascertain any looseness with the attachment.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 30 November 1980.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
