AD/FU24/57 Shoulder Harness Inertia Reel Installation Tension Clip P/N 08-16037-3 Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/FU24/57.

AD/FU24/57 Shoulder Harness Inertia Reel Installation Tension Clip P/N 08-16037-3 - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1980, required a one-off inspection of the tension clip from the shoulder harness inertia reel assembly in accordance with Aerospace Service Bulletin No. FU/067 to establish if a manufacturing flaw was present.  The AD compliance was within 10 hours time in service after 23 April 1980.   As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
