AD/FU24/54 L.H Rudder Pedal Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/FU24/54.

AD/FU24/54 L.H. Rudder Pedal - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1979, required inspection of the LH rudder pedal in accordance with Aerospace SB No. ASB/FU/051.  The AD compliance required a daily inspection until a strengthened pedal has been fitted.  A search of the SDR system revealed no reported defective pedals.  As no defective pedals have been reported, the unsafe condition no longer exists and therefore the AD is no longer required.
