AD/FA-200/14 Main Landing Gear Assemblies Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/FA-200/14.

AD/FA-200/14 Main Landing Gear Assemblies - Modification 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1972 against Fuji Industries Service Bulletin (SB) SB No.
FAS-065, required a modification by installation of a bolt to prevent the possibility of a main wheel axle slipping off the thermal fit socket.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 28 April 1972.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
