Fuji FA-200 Series Aeroplanes

AD/FA-200/11 Parking Brake Control Cable - Inspection 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1971 against Fuji Heavy Industries Service Bulletin (SB) No. FAS-057 required the establishment of the adjusting procedure for the parking brake control cable and stoppers.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 August 1971, and thereafter at any time the parking brake control cable adjustment is disturbed.

As the SB established the manufacturer’s instructions (see CAR 1988 42V and 2A (2) (c)) for how the parking break shall be adjusted, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
