Fokker F27 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/F27/93 | Nose Gear Down Lock Latch - Inspection | 11/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD raised in 1978 against page 6 of Dowty Rotol Service Bulletin (SB) No. 32-37 dated September 1962, or Dowty Rotol Drawing 200061330, required an inspection of the nose landing gear down lock latches for conformity with the profile indicated in the requirement documents. Incorrectly profiled latches needed to be replaced before further flight. Compliance was: Unless previously accomplished since 1 October 1977, within 300 hours TIS after 30 December 1977. This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
