AD/F27/70 Main Pneumatic Line Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/F27/70.

AD/F27/70 Main Pneumatic Line - Modification 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1969 against Fokker Service Bulletin (SB) 36-23 required modification by replacement of pneumatic tube from the main pressure bottle to the pneumatic panel with a tube of increased wall thickness.

Compliance not stated.  Manufacturer recommended accomplishment and Netherlands RLD require compliance before 1 April 1968.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft component to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
