AD/F27/62 Amdt 2 Godfrey Engine Driven Cabin Supercharger Drive Quill Shaft Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/F27/62 Amdt 2.

AD/F27/62 Amdt 2 Godfrey Engine Driven Cabin Supercharger Drive Quill Shaft - Modification 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1970 required modification to the cabin supercharger drive quill shafts by reducing the shear neck outside diameter.

Compliance was:  Before 23 January 1970.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft component to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
