AD/F27/104 Amdt 1 Main Undercarriage Drag Stay Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/F27/104 Amdt 1.

AD/F27/104 Amdt 1 Main Undercarriage Drag Stay - Inspection 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised 1982 against Dowty Aerospace Gloucester Service Bulletins No.
32-114B and 32-42S, required an ultrasonic inspection of the main undercarriage drag stay.  Compliance was required before 1 November 1982.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
