On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/F27/10.

Fokker F27 Series Aeroplanes

AD/F27/10 VHF Antennae - Reposition 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1959 against Fokker Modification Bulletin MB3 required a modification by repositioning of the VHF Antennae to prevent transmissions over the VHF communication system disturbing the VHF navigation system over certain frequencies.

Compliance not stated.  However, this modification was made by Fokker following matters raised by the Australian Department of Aviation prior to delivery of the aircraft type.

Given the forgoing, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
